We are happy to announce the newest addition to our team this month! Sheri Paul recently joined Imagine That as our new Digital Marketing Director, and we couldn’t be more excited for what her role will bring to our digital marketing team.
The Digital Marketing Director position at Imagine That is set to focus on both business development and to bring varied experience and expertise to our clients’ digital marketing programs.
“My goal is to support the growth of Imagine That by providing efficient and expert marketing services to our existing clients, and also to offer new clients our professional digital marketing services,” Sheri said in regards to her new position.
An Illinois native and California transplant, Sheri studied at Westmont College in Santa Barbara. She then relocated to the Denver area before moving to Summit County where she has lived for the past eight years – and doesn’t plan on leaving.
Sheri has two sons in Colorado – Jordan and Spencer – one of whom heads up the family real estate company while the other is a white water rafting guide in BV and Starbucks barista.
Sheri brings over 20 years of marketing, communications and public relations experience to our digital marketing team with companies like Equifax and Epsilon. Her years of targeted, results-driven marketing vary from local, small businesses, to large companies such as LL Bean, Victoria’s Secret, Whirlpool, Capitol One and Cunard Cruise Lines, to name a few.
Sheri is an innovator and startup owner herself. She started iResort app, a successful website and app for Summit County with her partner, Graeme Johnston. iResort App continues to reach over 90,000 followers a month as a media channel – while her work with Imagine That contributes to the branding, social media marketing, and websites for many of the same great mountain businesses that iResort App services. Sheri says she loves the synergy of the two.
“My marketing passion is all about relevance - serving up the best creative offer to the right individual at the right time,” Sheri said. “The goal is to accomplish that comfortably within our clients’ budget and with the data and tools we use to craft the best marketing program. I work to optimize clients’ marketing programs so they can focus on running their businesses.”
Outside of her ninja marketing skills, Sheri enjoys yoga, skiing, hiking, photography, music, and travel. Her favorite destinations have been Egypt in the Valley of the Kings, the Inca Trail in Peru, Australia, and most recently Vietnam.
“Oh, and I love a great chocolate dipped strawberry, which is the worlds perfect food,” she said.
Sheri is joining Imagine That co-founders Tom Fellner and Jeff McElhatten this week in Denver for the Digital Marketing Summit. This will give our team the opportunity to leverage webinars, seminars and conferences to hone best practices for our clients. With the digital space changing SO rapidly, it is our job as a marketing agency to be up on all the latest tools, partners and technology to bring to our clients’ programs.
The sessions we are most interested in cover topics such as brand consistency, optimal SEO, the role of video, new ads for social media like snapchat, and Google Adwords scripts. The insight from these conferences helps us provide the most sophisticated yet accessible digital marketing through blog articles, infographics, email newsletters, and most of all, winning strategies for our clients!
Sheri will be helping our team optimize our clients’ marketing efforts by implementing her areas of expertise which include email marketing, social media marketing, and data driven marketing - all with a focus on results and metrics.
